This site is about minor bands from the sixties, seventies and the eighties. The music ranges from folk to country, classic rock to heavy metal and few that defy classification. They are from the era when records were the dominant audio medium and some of them can only be found on vinyl.

Some of these bands may have released just a demo and when fame or fortune didn't come their way, then they called it quits. Others may have been around for years playing the local scene or touring with national groups but never reaching super star status. Most of the groups listed produced only a few albums and some may have had a song that made the charts still others may have been more popular in other countries than in the United States.

A lot of good music has slipped into history and may have only been heard by a limited audience. This site is dedicated to those lesser know bands, their dreams and the music that they produced.

At this time I have only a few bands listed but I will be adding more bands and information as I find them.
